Painter and Printmaker

Katie Prior (b. 1987) is an emerging artist from Dublin, Ireland.

Both her figurative and interior works borrow from her collection of vintage and antique vernacular photographs and ephemera.

Through constructing ambiguous narratives Katie's images seek to marry the seemingly irreconcilable senses of distance and familiarity that we might feel when flicking through an old family album.
