Biography
Katie Prior (b. 1987) is an emerging figurative artist from Dublin, Ireland. Her drawings, paintings, and prints are often populated by enigmatic figures observed from life or borrowed from her collection of vintage and antique vernacular photographs and ephemera.
Through placing these figures in ambiguous narratives Katie seeks to create images that are familiar to anybody who has flicked through a family album and felt they were looking through a window to the past but could not be granted entry.
